Another recent storm, typhoon “Pablo” struck several provinces in the Visayas and Mindanao a couple of weeks ago and according to local news (NDRRMC-Nat’l Disaster Risk Reduction and management Council), 647 confirmed dead and 780 still missing as of Monday. To add insult to injury, our Gov’t is ill equipped to assist the thousands more that were hard hit. (more…)

Dear Alumni,
I would like to request your support of our next event, DLSAANC’s Fun Night on Saturday, July 28, from 2pm to the wee hours at Caloy and Sara Narciso’s residence, at 39200 Zacate Avenue, Fremont. It’s an evening of simply “fun and games” like the flyer says, among Bay Area La Sallians, family and friends. Our goal is to simply provide a fun and lively atmosphere for everyone, while we raise funds, increase awareness and develop camaraderie. Without your help and support, our pledge to provide La Sallian education to the many under privileged children in the Philippines will cease to continue. (more…)
